—Ursula, Wagandea |
The Wagandea (ワガンディア Wagandia ) is an immense, legendary tree unique to the Arcturus Forest. It is depicted in many ancient slabs, and legend says that no one has ever reached its summit. Whenever its flowers bloom, Wagandea releases toxic pollen that can trigger severe allergic reaction to magic users (witches in particular), taking away their ability to fly and use magic.

—Description of Wagandea from Witchpedia.[1] |
Wagandea is so tall that no one has ever seen its top. It has rather huge leaves and a thorny trunk that extends endlessly into the sky in a spiral.
The pollen its flowers release whenever they bloom can strip a magic user their ability to fly and use magic. Though ancient records pertaining Wagandea stated its effects being permanent, Croix suggested that it was attributed to the curse within the pollen and in greater extent, the whole tree itself, and therefore breaking the curse is the key to cure those who affected by both it and the pollen. The pollen clears in a month on average, but the time it stays ranges from weeks to, in very rare cases, even several years.[2][3]
